Home Care

Supporting you with your personal care
Just Ask is registered with the Care Quality Commission as a domiciliary care provider. Your care requirements are very important to us and we want to help you live safely and comfortably in your own home. Whether you need help to get up, wash and dress every day or assistance with a shower several times a week we are happy to help. We can also help you to take part in the activities you enjoy or simply to go shopping.  We can prepare a freshly cooked meal, assist with your medication and be there at the end of the day to help you get ready for bed too.

We recognise that choosing a home care provider is a very important decision. We understand that everyone is an individual and has different needs. At Just Ask we will listen to those needs and work hard to put together a support plan that you are happy with. Our company ethos is to treat our service users with the same degree of respect and dignity that we would expect for a member of our own family. Our core values are respect, compassion, empathy, dignity, integrity and imagination. We work hard to uphold these values and to put our service users at the very centre of what we do .

Our carers
It is very important to us that our team of carers understand and adopt our company ethos of treating our service users in the same way that we would like a member of our own family to be treated. We have a recruitment policy based on values which aims to attract staff who genuinely want to care for people.

All our staff are DBS checked and have a formal induction plus a period of supervised shadowing visits to as many service users as possible. We ensure that our carers are fully trained in key areas and are fully supported in their practice and professional development.

We recognise that our carers play a vital role in delivering the standards of care we aspire to so we strive to be ethical employers with fair pay, working hours and empathetic management.

We recently performed a survey of our care service users to identify whether positive changes had been experienced since commencing with support from Just Ask

The results conclusively demonstrates that our service users had experienced a noticeable improvement in all of the ten key elements that are considered to measure an individual's overall health and well-being.
